Stay Terms

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. No booking shall be considered confirmed without complete payment.

Cancellation & Refund

All payments made towards accommodation bookings are strictly non-refundable. Cancellations for any reason, including personal emergencies, change of plans, or inability to travel, will not entitle the guest to a refund.

Meals Included

Each accommodation booking includes three meals: lunch on the check-in date, dinner on the check-in date, and breakfast on the next day. If the guest is unable to arrive at the check-in time or arrives after the scheduled lunch timings, the missed lunch will not be transferable to the next day or any other meal slot.

Date Change

Each booking is entitled to one complimentary date change, subject to the following conditions:

  • Request must be submitted a minimum of 72 hours before the original check-in date.
  • New date is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
  • The date change must be utilised within 6 months of the original booking date.
  • Date changes are not applicable in the event of a no-show.

Guest Count & Extra Persons

Charges are calculated on the number of guests declared at the time of booking, including any extra-person charges beyond the base occupancy. If fewer guests arrive than booked, the booking amount will not be reduced and no refund or credit will be issued for the unused capacity. For example, a cottage booked for 7 guests (with extra-person charges applied) will be billed in full even if fewer guests check in.

No-Show & Early Departure

Guests who do not arrive on their check-in date forfeit their booking entirely. No refund, credit, or date change will be applicable. Early departure from the property will not entitle the guest to a refund or credit for unused nights.

Force Majeure

In the event of a government-declared force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, declared emergencies, or government-imposed travel restrictions, guests will be entitled to a full refund.

If the property remains operational and the guest is unable to reach the property due to personal travel constraints not covered under a government declaration, no refund will be applicable.

Flight Terms

Payment

An advance of โ‚น500 per person is required at the time of booking to confirm your paragliding slot. The remaining balance is to be paid at the property upon completion of the activity.

Cancellation & Refund

All advance payments are strictly non-refundable except in the case of a weather cancellation as defined below.

Late Arrival

Guests are required to arrive at the designated reporting point at their confirmed slot time. Late arrivals will result in forfeiture of the confirmed slot. The following shall apply:

  • If a subsequent slot is available on the same day, the guest will be assigned the next available slot.
  • If no slot is available on the same day, the guest will be entitled to one complimentary date change and the โ‚น500 advance will be carried forward to the new booking.
  • No cash refund will be applicable in the event of late arrival under any circumstances.

Reduced Flyers (Group Bookings)

If you book paragliding for a group and fewer members choose to fly on the day, the โ‚น500 advance for each non-flying person is non-refundable and will not be adjusted against the flying guests. Only the advance of the guests who actually fly is set off against the final bill.

Example: a group of 4 pays โ‚น2,000 advance (โ‚น500 ร— 4). If only 3 fly, the 4th person's โ‚น500 is forfeited and โ‚น1,500 (โ‚น500 ร— 3) is deducted as advance at billing โ€” not โ‚น2,000.

Weather Cancellation

Weather conditions for paragliding are assessed solely by The Glide Inn's operations team and licensed pilots. Guest assessment of weather conditions will not be considered grounds for cancellation or refund.

In the event that the operations team declares conditions unfit for flying:

  • Guests who have arrived on time will be entitled to either a full refund of the โ‚น500 advance or one complimentary date change, at the guest's discretion.
  • The remaining balance, not having been collected, will not be applicable.

No-Show

Guests who do not arrive for their confirmed paragliding slot will forfeit their advance payment of โ‚น500 entirely. No refund, credit, or date change will be applicable.

Referral Program Terms

The Glide Inn Referral Program lets members earn credits by referring guests. By joining the program, you agree to the following terms.

Membership & Code

  • Membership is free. Register with a valid email and mobile number to receive a unique referral code (TGIR-XXXX).
  • Accounts are personal, password-protected, and non-transferable.

Earning Credits

  • Credits are awarded to the referrer only after the referred guest completes their stay โ€” not at the time of booking.
  • Earned per booking event, based on cottages booked by the referee: 1 cottage = โ‚น500, 2 cottages = โ‚น750, 3 or more = โ‚น1,000. There is no limit on the number of booking events.
  • Self-referral is not permitted โ€” you cannot use your own code, and a code cannot be applied to a booking made by the same person (matching phone or email).

Validity & Limits

  • Credits expire 6 months from the date earned (each batch separately).
  • A member may hold up to โ‚น5,000 in active credits at any time.

Redemption

  • 1 credit = โ‚น1. Redeemable on stay bookings only (cottage / camping).
  • Minimum 500 credits per redemption; partial redemption is allowed.
  • Only one offer per booking โ€” referral credits and a referral code cannot be combined on the same booking.
  • Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

Referee Benefit

  • The referred guest receives 10% off activities (excludes paragliding, stay, and food & beverage), applied at the resort on confirming the referral code at the time of billing.

Clawback & Misuse

  • If a booking that earned credits is later cancelled or marked as a no-show, the corresponding credits are reversed.
  • Fraud or misuse of the program may result in credit clawback and deactivation of the member account.

General

  • The Glide Inn may modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time. Management's decision shall be final in all matters relating to the program.

Safety Standards

At The Glide Inn, safety is non-negotiable. Every flight, every activity, and every stay is governed by comprehensive safety protocols.

  • Government approved paragliding site
  • All pilots hold commercial tandem licences
  • All gliders equipped with reserve parachutes
  • Passenger and pilot insured for โ‚น10 lakhs each
  • Trained marshalls at take-off and landing sites
  • All pilots are first-aid trained and emergency-ready
  • Regular medical checkups for all pilots, marshalls and staff
  • First-aid kits stationed at take-off and landing sites
  • Special rescue ropes and harnesses always available
  • Standby rescue team and vehicle always on standby
  • Annual safety inspection of all gliders, harnesses and equipment

Guest Experience Guidelines

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in time: 12:00 PM (noon) onwards
  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in and late check-out subject to availability
  • Valid government-issued photo ID required at check-in for all guests

Property Rules

  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted on the premises. All meals and refreshments are served by the resort.
  • The Glide Inn is a no-pet property. Pets are not permitted in any accommodation.
  • Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas, not inside cottages or tents.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please respect fellow guests.
  • Music at bonfire sessions runs from 8:00 PM to 9:45 PM.
  • Consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderation within your private accommodation only.

Eco-Responsibility

  • Please do not litter. Use designated waste bins throughout the property.
  • Do not pluck flowers, break branches, or damage any vegetation.
  • Respect the local wildlife โ€” do not feed or disturb animals.
  • We follow a minimal intervention policy with nature. Your cooperation helps preserve this paradise for future visitors.

Activity Participation

  • All adventure activities are subject to weather conditions and safety assessment.
  • Guests must follow instructor and pilot directions at all times.
  • Appropriate clothing and footwear is mandatory for all outdoor activities.
  • Guests with medical conditions must inform staff before participating in activities.
  • Children must be accompanied by adults for all adventure activities.

Meals & Dining

  • All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are included with accommodation bookings.
  • Morning and evening tea/coffee is complimentary.
  • Please inform us of dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking.
  • Meal timings are flexible within reason โ€” our staff will coordinate with you.

Tandem paragliding is where you fly with a licensed, experienced pilot. You sit in a comfortable harness attached to the pilot while they control the glider. No prior experience or training is needed โ€” just sit back, enjoy the views and leave the flying to the expert.
Paragliding takes place at a government-approved site near Junga, Shimla. The take-off point is approximately 9 km from The Glide Inn landing site, accessed by a scenic drive. The entire experience โ€” drive to take-off, flight, and return โ€” takes about 40 minutes total.
Absolutely. We maintain 11 comprehensive safety standards including government approval, licensed commercial tandem pilots, reserve parachutes on all gliders, โ‚น10 lakh insurance per person per flight, trained marshalls, first-aid kits, rescue teams on standby, and annual equipment inspections. Safety is our top priority.
No. Tandem paragliding requires zero prior experience. You fly with an experienced, licensed pilot who handles all controls. You just need to follow the pilot's simple instructions during take-off and landing.
Wear comfortable two-piece clothing (avoid dresses or sarees) and secure closed-toe shoes (sports shoes or sneakers are ideal). Avoid sandals, heels or loose footwear. We recommend layering as it can be windy at altitude.
Paragliding costs โ‚น2,850 per person plus 5% GST. Video recording via GoPro costs โ‚น500 extra โ€” the footage is transferred directly to your phone after the flight.
Minimum age is 12 years. Maximum weight is 98 kg. Guests with serious medical conditions (heart problems, epilepsy, etc.) should consult their doctor before flying.

Reverse bungee is an adrenaline-pumping activity where you are launched backward into the air on powerful elastic cords. Unlike traditional bungee jumping (where you fall down), you are catapulted upward โ€” hence "reverse."
Yes. All equipment is regularly inspected and maintained. Experienced instructors supervise every launch and ensure proper harnessing and safety protocols are followed.
Minimum age for reverse bungee is 10 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Wear comfortable clothing and secure footwear (sports shoes preferred). Avoid loose items, jewellery, or anything that could fall off during the launch.

The Waterfall Trek is a 4 km round trip, taking 2โ€“3 hours. It leads to a spectacular 100-foot perennial waterfall. Minimum age is 8 years. Moderate difficulty โ€” suitable for most fitness levels.
You need sports shoes (mandatory), a water bottle, comfortable clothes, and a small backpack. For longer treks (Take-off Point Trek, 6โ€“8 hours), carry extra water and snacks.
